Submission Lifecycle
A submission moves through the following statuses as conditions are met — including risk appetite, underwriting guidelines, treaty conditions, and document completeness:
- Ready for Analysis — All required documents and conditions are in place; the submission is queued for processing
- Analysis Ongoing — The platform is actively processing the submission
- Four-Eye — The structured analysis and risk insights are under dual review by an underwriter
- Referral — The case has been escalated as the underwriting authority is insufficient
- Quoted — A quote has been issued to the broker
- Bound — The risk has been bound
- Registered — The policy has been first registered in the financial system
- Issued — The policy and invoice have been issued
Technical Case Statuses
The following technical statuses extend the lifecycle steps above and reflect the precise system state of a case at any point in time:
- Ready for Analysis — All required documents and conditions are met; the submission is queued
- Analysis Ongoing — The platform is actively processing the submission
- Needs Documents — One or more required documents are missing. An automatic request has been sent to the broker; the underwriter may also upload documents manually from the submission detail view
- Needs Entity Resolution — The named insured could not be automatically verified. Manual review is required to confirm or select the correct entity match
- Declined — The submission does not meet risk appetite criteria and will not be processed further
- Four-Eye — Risk insights are complete and awaiting dual underwriter review
- Referral — The case has been escalated as the underwriting authority is insufficient
- Quoted — A quote has been issued to the broker
- Bound — The risk has been bound
- Registered — The policy has been first registered in the financial system
- Issued — The policy and invoice have been issued
- Closed — The case is finalised
