Submission Tabs

Each case is organised into three tabs, accessible from the submission detail view.

Tab 1: Overview

The Overview tab provides a snapshot of the case at a glance:

  • Case header — Named insured, broker, current status, and key metadata
  • Risk appetite check results — Outcome of the automated check against configured industries, treaty conditions, and underwriting guidelines
  • Proposed risk structure — As identified from the submission email, including layering where applicable
  • Entity resolution summary — Named insured verification status and matched registry data
  • Correspondence timeline — A chronological view of the initial submission email and all subsequent follow-up correspondence associated with the case

Tab 2: Documents

The Documents tab provides a full view of all files attached to the case:

  • All documents with their assigned classification and processing status
  • Extraction confidence per document
  • Options to manually reclassify a document or upload additional files where the automatic document request has not yielded the necessary materials

Tab 3: Risk Analysis

The Risk Analysis tab is where underwriters examine AI-enabled risk insights, verify evidence, and make final decisions. It contains:

  • Risk insights — Categorised findings covering the full scope of the submission with evidence references and confidence indicators for every data point
  • Edit history — A full audit trail of all values and any manual overrides applied by the underwriter, with attribution and timestamp
  • Approval and export — Controls to approve the case and export the risk analysis as a PDF or to Guidewire

Approving a Case

Once the underwriter has reviewed all risk insight categories, verified evidence, and applied any necessary corrections, the case can be approved. Approval signifies that:

  • All risk insight categories have been reviewed
  • All edits and corrections have been applied
  • The risk analysis is ready for export

Approval is tracked with the underwriter’s identity and a timestamp for audit purposes.

PDF Export

After approval, the risk analysis can be exported as a PDF. The exported PDF includes:

  • Cover page — Named insured, broker, policy details, and approval metadata
  • Risk insight sections — All categories with their findings
  • Evidence trail — Source references for all extracted data points
  • Edit history — Any fields that were manually edited, showing original and final values
  • Approval record — Who approved the case and when

The PDF is generated server-side and can be downloaded directly from the submission detail view. At the customer’s request, the risk analysis can also be exported to Guidewire.
